Geothermal Heating &Cooling De Queen, AR
The Only WaterFurnace Geothermal Dealer in
Southwest Arkansas
Southwest Arkansas
A geothermal system consists of a heat exchanger (the 2,000 to 6,000 feet of piping buried or drilled into the ground), the ductwork (needed for most systems), and the indoor unit (just like a furnace or an air handler).
We would typically recommend installing 2,000+ feet of pipe in the ground, a less expensive option. If this much space is not available, then we can drill 200 foot wells into the ground and run piping through the wells, drill horizontally under the house or use the WaterFurnace Hyperloop product.

We have a top-of-the-line geo unit installed on a 4,000 sq/ft house. The unit is only three tons at full capacity. We installed the duct work and designed it for zoning with 4 zones. The unit is equipped with a variable speed compressor. Here's the exciting part: this unit cost around $20 a month on average to operate! That's incredible efficiency. That means incredible savings for YOU!
Conventional HVAC air-to-air units can cost exceptionally more to operate. AND, they would most likely not provide near the comfort a high-efficiency geothermal heat pump with zoning would!

"Playing in a mud hole"
Although, it may not look like it, this is actually an ac repair. Actually, it is a geothermal heat pump repair. This is in De Queen, AR, but just so you know, our services extend to surrounding areas which include Sevier county, Polk county, Howard county, and Little River county.
A backhoe was used to dig a hole to bury construction debris. It was not known that this was the location of geothermal loop piping for the residence. When we initially arrived on the scene (as you can see in one of our pictures) the loops were unexposed, sunk in water and mud and needed to be opened up. With exploratory digging and pressurizing the loops with water using a purge cart, we were able to find the broken piping. Using the purge cart, we flushed the looping prior to completion of the repairs. The filter cartridge you see caught most of the debris that had entered the loop. As seen in the filter container, even small rocks were flushed with the purging process.
